Tour Description  This tour brings you to the smallest province in the Philippines with 10 tiny islets, five of which form the northernmost frontier of the Philippine archipelago. Isoalted from the rest of the country, Batanes is mostly hills and mountains. Roam around Basco, stay at Batan, Window to Batanes - the largest island in Batanes. Then take a trip to Sabtang Island and see traditional Ivatan architecture preserved and still used today.

Tour Highlights

Basco
Visit the Radar Station. View magnificent pastoral beauty if Batanes: hedgerows and fields ripe for harvest. Drop by the Fundacion Pacita, take quick look at the Palace in the Sky. Pass by Dipnaysuhuan Tunnel, Valugan Bay, the rolling Naidi Hills. Travel down and take a closer look at the ammunition depot,as well as the Light House and enjoy the panoramic view of Basco. Visit the Basco Cathedral, and the Provincial Capitol.

Batan Island 
Take a look at the View deck, the Church of San Carlos Borromeo and see the province only surviving Spanish-era Lamp Post, rock formation that strongly resembles the face of the Black Nazarene, the Bridge of San Jose, House of Dakay, Church of San Jose, Honesty Coffee Shop, the Fissure in the coral reef in Sitio Itnalban, Ghost Town of Songsong, Alapad Point, Marlboro Country. Pass by the Batanes Wind-Diesel Hybrid Project, the country's first and only commercially operated wind-diesel power plant.

Sabtang Island (weather permitting)
Explore Barangay Savidug and the narrow cobblestone village Barangay Chavayan, the southernmost community in the province. Enjoy a picnic-style lunch along the shoreline at Ahaw Rock Arc or at Morong Cave in sitio Nacabwang. Take a dip in the sea and enjoy the waves (time permitting).
