A 3-hours drive south countryside of Manila to the old town of Pagsanjan. Take a "banca" (dugout canoe) ride for the trip to the falls. Water runs strong and deep at Pagsanjan River so prepared to be wet, benevolent times but not manageable during stormy weather. White-water mass racing downstream. At the falls, experience the thunderous cascade of water, when you take a bamboo raft ride. Go through another beguiling and thrilling encounter as you "Shoot the rapids" going downstream in your way back. Witness the skillful maneuver of your boatman as he operates between rocks and boulders until you reach calm waters of the river. Lunch follows at a riverside lodge.
