Visit the historical Fort Santiago, completed 150 years later built in 1663 inside the older "Walled City" of Intramuros (1591-1593). The Manila American Cemetery & Memorial (1948-1960) with its 17,000 marble headstones of known and unknown soldiers and memorial for 36,279 missing gallant American and Filipino soldiers who died during the WW II.
