With bevelled - glass windows and Chinese-carved lattice work. Victor's father, Yves Leopoldo Germain Gaston is the first to cultivate sugarcane commercially in the region. Hofilena Heritage House Now owned by charismatic Ramon Hofilena, tireless preserver of Silay Heritage. Currently he resides and hold family gathering of special occasions also in this graceful ancestral home. The stately Hofilena Ancestral House contains one of the Philippine's finest art collections. as well as antiques belonging to the Hofilena family. Ramon also has collections of Jars dating as far as Ming Dynasty. Painting collections by Juan Luna and Sketched of Jose Rizal. Ramon's father Manuel Severino is also one of the original Silay sugar barons. Jalandoni Ancestral House - Museum Affectionately known as the "Pink House" built in 1908 bye Bernardino Jalandoni. The building is virtually said to be unchanged from the days it was home to the Jalandoni Family. A 1907 Steinway piano , banknotes from the Japanese government days, old big television sets, record players, charcol irons, beer filters and horse carts are displayed and preserved int he 2nd floors and the garage.
